Obi

SOLD Antique Japanese Kimono Nagoya Obi NO17

Pattern: Woven pattern of cranes, clouds and plants; the plants seem vague, which makes sense as the cranes are in flight. I think we are seeing the plants on the ground far below, perhaps with the same perspective as the cranes. Colors are bone, green, copper and rust with black details.
Comments: This is an older piece, dating to the middle 1940's; a war-time piece, if you will. Even that considered, it is in excellent condition and will make a nice addition to your wardrobe or collection.
