SOLD Large Green Mixing Bowl, Bauer #9 Ring Ware, or Rings.

This is the largest of six sizes that would nest together.  The color is the one referred to as Jade Green, and is one of the more sought after colors.  The photo bottom left best displays the actual color.  The rings are very distinct, but the mark did not photograph well and is difficult to read even in person.  You can read Bauer and you can read 9, but there is something below that which I can't make out, but is most likely the USA that one would expect to be present.  There are a few  tiny 'bites' on the edge of the bowl, and you can feel, but not see what may possibly be a stress line; fairly common in the larger sizes like this.  There is 'shelf-wear' on the base ring from scooting around in the cabinet and on the counter, but it is quite minor.  This one measures just under 5" across the base ring, 10 3/4" OD at the top, and just over 5 1/4" high.  1998 book price for this one is $120.00.  It is really in excellent condition for the age and probable use, and it is $75.00.

Nippon Lady Head Vase.

The inkstamp  on this one is extremely clean, as is the rest of the vase.  Truthfully, this is one of the lesser pieces of this genre, because of the lack of dimensional eyelashes.  This lady is just about as perfect as she can possibly be; all of her jewelry is present, with no tarnishing of the metal that holds the earrings.  The difference between the matte surfaces of the face and dress and the glossier finish of the hair makes this a very nice item for you.  She stands 5 3/4" at the top of the flower in her hair.  She is $57.00.

Aqua Matte Two Handled Vase, Brush McCoy or Weller.

Marked USA, but almost certainly either Brush McCoy or Weller, this vase is in marvelous condition, and is quite heavy.  Like most McCoy, the glaze is imperfect at the bottom, close to the firing ring.  The color and satin/matte surface speaks of Weller, but I cannot positively identify this one.  The two handles span almost the entire vase, for a wonderful Art Deco look.  The vase stands 9" tall, is about 4 1/2" from handle to handle,  3 1/2" OD at the top, and about 5" across the bulb.  I am especially fond of the 'bleed through' effect of the bone underglaze, and the more blue tones where the outer glaze is more concentrated at the bases of the handles.  A very nice piece, it is $75.00.

Vintage Head Vase, Lady With Pearls.

This is the standard for head vases; the lady with pearls.  As you can see, one of her earrings is missing, but the ear lobe is not broken, so it would be easily replaced.  Apart from some minor paint loss, visible in some of the pictures, she is in excellent condition.  There is minor paint loss to her eyelashes, but the eyelashes themselves are not chipped.  There is an area, shown in the picture bottom left, that has a dark place that could either be paint from the lace, or some sort of factory flaw.  This is on the back of the vase, so does not affect presentation.  She measures about 5 1/8" tall.  She is $45.00.

Lusterware Bell, Dutch Girl.

Here is a sweet little bell in the form of a Dutch girl with a peach lusterware skirt.  She is in excellent condition, and has the original clapper inside, too.  The bell stands 3 1/2" tall and is 1 7/8" x 1 5/8" across the bottom of her oval skirt.  $8.00.

Niloak Flower Frog, Pink Matte.

Here we have the Niloak Goose In Flight flower frog.  It is not marked Niloak, but there is absolutely no doubt of the maker, and this piece does appear in the Niloak book.  It is the matte rose finish, with a cold painted black eye on each side of the goose's head.  There are six holes in the base for flowers, and it stands just over 5 1/2" tall at the top of his head, is 5 1/2" from bill to tail, and 3 5/8" OD on the bottom.  Excellent condition, it is $85.00.

Flower Frog, Nude.

I am uncertain of the maker of this frog.  Possibly Cowan?  In any event, she is beautiful, and the only flaw is the small base chip you see in picture 3, and another smaller one just outside the range of the picture, further to the right..  They are probably factory flaws, but nonetheless I wanted you to be aware of them.  This one has 10 holes for flowers, and is glazed on the bottom also.  It is an all-over rich goldenrod color with random nutmeg speckling.  The only way I have ever seen this frog before has been in white.  She stands slightly over 7" tall and is 4 7/8" x 4 1/2" across the base.  $125.00.

Regal Pottery Vase, Standing Crane.

This is a fabulous, perfect vase from Regal, who, as you know, was responsible for Hull Art Pottery.  It is rare to find one of these pieces marked Regal.  The mark is "REGAL 309 U.S.A.", and the vase depicts a crane standing in water plants.  The ground color is creamy white, which is the perfect base for the coppery nutmeg brown and the slightly blue tinged green of this lovely thing.  Excellent condition, it is $125.00.
