SOLD Japanese Men's Antique Kimono, 5 Crests JD212.

Pattern: Simple black kimono with a crest of two interlocking squares that form sort of a sun-like star. Glossy, whispery silk shell is amazingly soft and smooth.
Comments: Upper white liner has some staining, but obviously this will not be seen when the garment is worn. All-over width is slightly larger than usual; 54 1/2" wrist to wrist and 26" body width.

Men's Japanese Antique Kimono, Genji Wheel Crests JD211.

Pattern: Black with white liner, 5 Genji Wheel crests.
Comments: There are some tiny spots present; one is photographed, much enlarged for you. The white inner collar has some age staining. This one is unique in that the lower part of the white liner is done in three completely different patterns, as visible in the photos. The upper liner feels like cotton muslin to me, but I could be wrong. I also believe this one to be entirely hand stitched; that is only my opinion.

SOLD Japanese Antique 3 Crested Men's Kimono JD210.

Pattern: Plain off-black silk with a slight texture running horizontally; liner is brown/off-black silk.
Comments: Slightly unusual in that it has three crests rather than either one or five; the crest is two horizontal bars in a circle. The silk has a wonderful, almost liquid-like suppleness to it. The color is difficult to describe accurately; the description that comes to mind is 'old' black or perhaps charcoal.

Japanese Antique Kimono/Haori, Men's Set JD209.

Pattern: Kimono is black silk with a slightly eggplant-toned liner. Matching haori has a caramel colored plain liner.
Comments: 5 crossed hawk feathers crests, smooth, glossy silk outer shells in excellent condition.

SOLD Japanese Men's Antique Kimono Haori JD208.

Pattern: Beautiful woven liner of a vase and covered jars on glossy bronze silk. There are several bronze tones here; the central frame is slightly different in color tone from the border around that area and the sleeve liners are slightly different from both of those tones.
Comments: 5 crests (bell flower?) make this one formal; excellent condition and ready to wear!
