Here is a vintage kitchen scale by American Family Scale. As you can see in the photos, it is in very nice condition with only minimal very light surface rust. I’m told that surface rust can be removed using an art gum eraser, but I’ve not tried to do that as I don’t know what your plans are for the scale. It can be calibrated so that the needle stays on zero without anything on the top platform, or you can put a container on the platform and then recalibrate it to zero so as to weigh only what is in the container.
It measures about 8″ tall and is 6 1/2″ wide and 8 1/2″ front to back at the base. The body is metal and the platform is plastic, so I THINK it is from the 1970’s. All around nice addition to your vintage kitchen.
